About our Italian teachers
We believe that you will have the best study experience when learning with a native Italian speaker. That’s why all of our teachers are either Italian or have grown up surrounded by the Italian language. But being a native speaker alone does not qualify someone as an Italian teacher. We also demand that our teachers should have a teaching qualification or relevant degree. In some exceptional cases we will work with teachers who can show a strong record of teaching Italian to foreigners but who do not have an official certificate (but the overwhelming majority of our teachers have both a qualification and experience).
Through studying the Italian language as well as speaking it, our teachers have a deep understanding of the subject and are passionate about it. Through studying teaching, they understand learner motivations and the methodology that gets the best from students.
Whenever possible, we supply specialised business trainers for our Business Italian courses. They have experience of the professional world or a background in teaching Italian for business purposes.
If you don’t get on with your teacher...
We have a very high client satisfaction rate but it can occasionally happen that a learner and a teacher do not get on. We are all people after all. If, for any reason, you want to change your teacher, let our support team know and we will do our best to find you a replacement at no charge.
